2022 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Performance Features

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is one of the world's most iconic and luxurious car models. The newest version, the 2022 S-Class, is sure to be a hit with luxury car enthusiasts everywhere.

The all-new S-Class will offer a choice of four different engine options. Two of these engines will be turbocharged, and two will be hybrid. The base model has a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbocharged engine with 384 lb-ft of torque.

For those who want even more power, there is an available 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine with 627 lb-ft of torque. This engine can propel the S-Class from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

There are also two hybrid engine options available. The first is a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. This engine master a 429 lb-ft of torque and has a combined fuel economy of 60 MPGe.

The second hybrid option is a 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine paired with an electric motor. This engine can produce 621 lb-ft of torque and has a combined fuel economy of 58 MPGe.

Both hybrid engines come standard with Mercedes-Benz's 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
