Ever since the Mercedes-Benz E-Class's debut, it has set a standard for what drivers came to expect of luxury cars. With an advanced suite of technology features, an intuitive infotainment system, and a new dimension of intelligent drive design, the E-Class created waves in the world of top-quality vehicles. Coming soon, the E-Class's latest iteration leaps into a new realm of sophistication and performance.

Mercedes-Benz will release two new designations to the E-Class lineup with the E 450 and E 450 4MATIC. Both will be sporting an upgraded 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine that produces 362 hp, generating 33 hp more than its predecessor. The engine's torque will increase an additional 15 lb-ft, from 354 lb-ft to 369 lb-ft. With this additional power, you can count on more control and power to make your drive even more pleasurable than before.

Driver Assistance Features

It's expected of a finely crafted vehicle that it will not only have an elegant appearance but also have meticulously planned safety features. Mercedes-Benz recognizes the demand of its drivers to not compromise luxury for safety, so the E-Class family will benefit from enhanced safety systems and route-based speed adaption. These systems will draw from a considerably broader scope of map and navigation data to create an easier, safer driving experience on unfamiliar roads.

Additional Upgrades

For convenience and safety, the 2019 E-Class models will receive a new 3-spoke Nappa Leather multifunction steering wheel, which will make it easy to operate all safety assistance systems without removing your hands from the wheel. The E-Class Sedan will have the option of a Night and Rear Safety Package for those looking for even more safety features.

We'll have to wait for the launch date to get a bit closer before all the information, including pricing, will be available. To see the performance and safety features offered by the current Mercedes-Benz line up, browse our new inventory to see which 2018 models may be perfect for you.
