The New Mercedes-Benz GLE Coming Soon

The versatile GLE will give you everything that you loved about past models and then some. The new GLE has a striking appearance with short overhangs, a long wheelbase, and the iconic headlamp designs. The upcoming GLE model comes with several innovative upgrades that will exponentially improve your driving experience in the Cadillac area.

What are the standout changes? There are five innovations that are particularly noteworthy for the new GLE:

  • Turn-off function of the Active Brake Assist, allowing the Active Brake Assist with Cross-Traffic Assist to activate when turning across the opposite lane.
  • Seating comfort: With a longer wheelbase, the GLE allows for even more spaciousness. Additionally, the fully adjustable second seat row and an available third seat row offer exceptional comfort.
  • Fully-variable 4MATIC®: For the first time on the GLE, Long Lake area drivers will have access to fully variable all-wheel drive controls that distribute torque between the front and rear axle from 0-100%, depending on the selected driving mode.
  • Active Stop-and-Go Assist: The driver assistance system can detect traffic jams at an early stage and will support the Rapid City drivers in stop-and-go traffic up to 37 mph.
  • E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL: This fully networked hydropneumatics, active suspension works with a newly developed air suspension for individual spring and dampening forces for each wheel.

The upcoming GLE will be equipped with the latest generation of the multimedia system MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience). This system includes two high-resolution 12.3-inch screens that are arranged in-line for a widescreen look.

With the available MBUX Interior Assistant, you can control the functions of the car with simple hand gestures. The driver and the front passenger can program a personal, favorite function that is activated when the system detects your outstretched index and middle finger. The system uses a camera in the overhead console to register movements and can distinguish between the driver's and passenger's hands.
