Mercedes-Benz Community Stars
To commemorate the 125th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz and the entire dealer body are sponsoring a giveaway of $125,000 ($25,000 donated to 5 organizations). This contest is launching today, September 1st on Mercedes-Benz USA Facebook page.
How To Enter:
- "Like" the Mercedes-Benz USA Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/mercedesbenzusato
- Access the Community Stars contest hub 3. Submit a 60-second video that describes your organization and explains exactly what you would accomplish with $25,000.
A Couple Items to Remember:
- Your video must be submitted prior to September 23, 2011.
- Eligible charities and non-profits must qualify as a 501(c)(3) organization and fall into one of the five specific categories: Environment & Sustainability, Health & Service, Youth Empowerment, Music & Arts and Education.
- The top fifteen (15) semi-finalists will be posted on October 3, 2011 to the Facebook community for a community vote.
- Voting for the Top five (5) will end October 21, 2011. The five (5) Grand Prize Winners will be announced October 25, 2011 and the charity/non-profit organization will be awarded a donation of $25,000.
